Last week Integrity partners John Simanowitz and Ed Morrissey announced that our team would continue our current work-from-home policy through the end of the year, in step with other major tech companies such as Google and Facebook. The news of our extended WFH approach came just days before St. Louis City and County’s plan to reopen businesses went into effect on May 18, 2020.
Throughout our company’s history, we have long embraced a flexible work-from-home approach, but with the sudden rise of the novel coronavirus, our partners recognized the opportunity to adapt rapidly.
While many organizations were left scrambling to establish remote working environments and address technology needs quickly, Integrity employees have always had the freedom to work wherever they feel most productive. The current pandemic, however, called for an added layer to the policy by transitioning all employees to work from home.
“Because we’ve allowed working from home for so many years, the necessary transition to the whole team working from home went smoother than John or I could’ve imagined,” added partner and CCO, Ed Morrissey.
Currently, Integrity plans to keep our office space open for team members who prefer to work from the comfort of our office, located on the top floor of the Tivoli Building located on the Delmar Loop.
Cautious safety measures have also been implemented to ensure all of our staff can remain safe and healthy, whether they’re working from the office or from home.
“A company is nothing but the people within it, and we will do everything we can to protect them,” founder and CEO, John Simanowitz said. “An empty office is a small price to pay for the health and wellbeing of our team and their families. Given the risks, the decision to work remotely for the remainder of the year was an easy one.”
As the leading UX design, development and marketing consultancy in St. Louis, Integrity is no stranger to working in an ever-changing industry.
“Technology is constantly evolving, and the ability to evolve with it and predict how it will evolve is the key to success in this industry,” said Simanowitz. “Our employees are masters at adapting to change, and these past couple months have proven that.”
