Think you've heard all there was to hear about Integrity's partnership with Jiffy Steamer? Wrong! We recently leveraged our web application development skills to launch the all new jiffysteamer.com, enhancing Jiffy's online presence with a custom Magento e-commerce website.

Integrity has spent the past year working closely with Jiffy Steamer to modernize the company's brand platform as it celebrates 75 years in business. To help introduce the new Jiffy brand earlier this year, we launched Jiffy's new corporate website, poweredbyjiffy.com.
The new e-commerce experience is a major milestone in our effort to ensure Jiffy continues to leverage the web, since it establishes a modern online shopping experience that will drive sales and reinforce Jiffy's position as the leader in steam technology.
Magento was the platform of choice for the new e-commerce experience as it provides a modern, open-source e-commerce platform with a large suite of tools and extensions for developer use – while also ensuring the user experience can reflect the new brand and support online merchandising.
Although Magento offered many of the core e-commerce features, our custom web development skills came into play in building the majority of the site's pages, from the homepage to the product detail page to Jiffy's robust customer support center.
All custom development was aligned with the goal of the website: to increase online sales while enhancing the user experience. The best way to do this was to build a site that offered its users a truly exceptional shopping experience in a responsive fashion.
On the new site, shoppers are able to get a feel for Jiffy's entire range of steamers through the huge solutions section. With powerful photography and the bold voice established during the Jiffy rebranding process, this part of the site showcases all the ways Jiffy is revolutionizing the steam industry by offering products designed for every lifestyle and use case.
Shoppers are able not only to see all the ways they can benefit from owning a Jiffy Steamer, but also exactly what steamer is necessary for their particular needs. The solutions section represents part of an effort to eliminate shoppers' confusion about Jiffy's wide array of products.
Of course, the site is designed to allow shoppers to locate what they need even without visiting the solutions pages. Products are divided into categories and subcategories that make it easy to find a particular steamer, accessory or part.
When a user is ready to make a purchase, it's easy to customize the desired steamer thanks to the configurable products built out within the Magento store, which allow for color, head attachment and voltage selection. The checkout process is swift and modern with APIs that offer payment and shipping options. Customers are also able to create an account at checkout so they can make future purchases quickly and easily and review their order history by logging in.
From the moment they arrive on the site to the moment they place an order, customers are treated to the very best in e-commerce experiences. It's easy to choose a steamer and even easier to buy it.

Now that we've launched the site, we're looking forward to the next phase of our partnership. Through 2016, we'll be working alongside Jiffy to ramp up digital marketing efforts ranging from social media and SEO to paid search advertising.
