Bay East Association of Realtors is based out of the Bay Area in California. Bay East provides support, advocacy, professional development and resources designed to help their diverse community of real estate professionals grow their business, meet clients’ expectations and facilitate daily tasks.

Integrity’s St. Louis WordPress web design team was tasked with designing a modernized website experience reflective of the Bay East brand. In addition to a fresh design, Integrity leveraged the full power of WordPress’s content management system to build a flexible and scalable admin to give the Bay East team the ability to create and manage content quickly and easily.

Pain points

Bay East was struggling with an outdated WordPress theme that was no longer reflective of their brand. The site contained significant technical debt restricting their ability to easily update and create new content.

In addition to technical strains, Bay East’s existing website contained massive quantities of content that was difficult for their members to navigate and access.

In order to best understand their members’ needs, Bay East conducted several stakeholder interviews and sent out a multitude of surveys for feedback. Integrity was able to help guide this process and apply the information gathered to the sitemap and information architecture of the new website.

By leveraging the full power of WordPress and Advanced Custom Fields, Integrity was able to provide an organized and flexible admin experience. Bay East now has the ability to add, edit and delete content as needed. Flexible content fields allow Bay East to create custom page templates on the fly to let the content drive the layout.

Our web development specialists were able to create an updated WordPress theme while maintaining connections to multiple third-party integrations that were integral to reaching Bay East members.
